Students can expect to play in a weekly chess tournament and learn new tactical patterns that will enhance their knowledge of chess and game strategy. This program is perfect for students who have a firm understanding of the principles taught in the PowerUP program and are ready to play in weekly tournament games. NEW material taught every 6 weeks checkmating patterns, tactical problem solving, opening, middle, and endgame ideas. Repeat the course as desired to attain chess mastery. Class Schedule: Fridays from 1:15-2:15 Classes begin on November 3rd and meet every Friday through December 15th with the following days off:
