Open Section USCF Rated – Game 25 with 5 second delay

K-3 and K-6 Sections USCF Rated- Game 15. NO delay.

Sections:

K-3 Section:  Designed for beginner players in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Great for young students and students new to chess tournaments. No previous tournament experience is required. USCF-rated.

K-6 Section: Designed for beginner and intermediate players in the 4th – 6th grades. Advanced students in K-3rd grade may play up for a more challenging tournament experience. No previous tournament experience is required for students in 4th – 6th grade. USCF-rated.

Open Section: Designed for older scholastic and adult players. Experienced K- 6 students with an established USCF rating are permitted to play in the open section to gain experience competing against older opponents and enjoy a higher level of competition. No previous tournament experience is required for older scholastic and adult players. USCF-rated.

Early bird registration is discounted at $30.00 until 11:59 PM on November 1st. Thereafter the fee will increase to $40.00 up until registration closing at 7:30 AM on Saturday, November 16th. Participants may register onsite after 7:30 AM but will have a first round bye. This policy has been implemented to ensure a prompt to start this PowerChess event.

US Chess Federation membership is required to participate in this tournament. For this tournament to be rated and affiliated with the USCF, each participant must have a membership. PowerChess does not receive compensation for your USCF membership but membership is required for us to officially rate the tournament.
